My wife and I really enjoyed your performance at the Mauna Kea Visitor Station on 5/23/10. There was one song you played that's been stuck in my head since then! Keep up the incredible playing, and mahalo for sharing your songs with us!

Aloha Kris,
We are back on the mainland for a few months, but miss Hawaii and it helps to watch a few of your videos here to keep from getting too homesick. We have a ukulele, banjo, harmonica, and guitar playing friend here who we have given your CD to, and he is amazed to hear you play. He grew up on Oahu as a young man and learned to play. We are hoping he can visit us in Waikoloa for next years festival. Thanks so much for the enjoyment your music brings to all of us. Your mom and sister too, Mahalo

Hi there Kris!

Well, it was another totally awesome performance last nite! Riding up to the Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station to go stargazing was exciting, but the highlight of the evening was hearing you perform as one of the featured entertainers in the musical showcase.

Loved hearing your new songs -great arrangements! By the show of applause and the hana hou the crowd demanded, it was evidence of yet another thriller of a performance - congratulations! Mom on keyboard adds another dimension to your music and really brings out the brilliance of your playing and that unbelievable bond you have with your ukulele - wonderful accompaniament, adding delicate balance and sensitivity to your music.

Looking forward to seeing you perform again there. I hear you're also playing for Black & White night in Hilo, so can't wait for that. Your CD is awesome and is a great reflection of the depth of your talent.

Also looking forward to seeing you make the crowd go wild at Kope Kope, Kris - standing room only (AGAIN) for sure!!

Always there,
Karen

Please save a copy of your CD for me when it comes out. I met you at the Queen's shops during the festival there. My wife and I were impressed to say the least. If you have time, e-mail me to let me know when your CD comes out so I can buy a few.
You reminded me of Leo Kotke, or what he might sound like if he played the 4 string instead of the six and 12 string.
